First Post...
Hi, and welcome to my new blog...I thought it was about time i got away from all that facebook and myspace nonsense and give myself some sort of professional presence on web 2.0.. :-)
Points for today, Bluray wins over HD-DVD - Sony learnt their Betamax lesson very well it would seem...and the debacles that are the films and records industries are still battling away over loss of intellectual property. One would expect such big business to embrace the technologies available in 2008. On a related subject, I've had a good read on The Open Rights Group - http://www.openrightsgroup.org/ - and i'm popping down to an event at LSE (that's London School of Economics for the unfamiliar) on 19th March...entry is free so give me a shout if you fancy...
